Re: Full Metal Alchemist
I love this anime and am starting to get into the manga via the library. Anyway. I bought both seasons and the movie and love it all. Vic Mignogna makes my day. All the VAs need appreciation. I am excited about the new series but will shy from illegal ways of seeing it, I do hope cruncyroll gets it. I hope Funimation gets the license, I want to have Vic come back and reprise his role as Ed. I hope they get the original cast back for the English dub. I don't know what they'd do about Aron, since his voice changed a bunch.

I fully agree, the VA's did a fantastic job with the series and movie and I'm hoping all if not most of the VA's return to do the remake. Speaking of VA's, did anyone notice that Dr. Marco's voice sounds a lot like Johnny Cash?

Re: Full Metal Alchemist
there's a trailer for the newly animated FMA on utube. i'd post the link but obviously that won't work.
try copying and pasting these tags:
鋼の錬金術師 haganeno_renkinjyutushi FULLMETAL_ALCHEMIST 放送予告CM ver2 釘宮理恵 &fmt=22
it is supposed to follow the manga more directly, which i'm very pleased to hear. while the original anime writers did a good job continuing the story and adding their own twists and developments, the original storyline is much more in depth and inventive in my opinion. also it's interesting to see what the original author is intending.
i have no doubt FUNimation is going to jump on this project as soon as it's available to them. the only question i have, is will they keep Aaron Dismuke as Alphonse. he dubbed the original before his voice changed. he's either 15 or 16 now. he still sounds like Al, just an octave lower. personally, i couldn't choose anyone else for alphonse, voice change or not.
KEEP AARON FUNI!!!

Everything came from nothing, therefore everything is nothing.
There's nothing to worry about.

Good news! Funimation is going to stream the new FMA series on April 9th, at 10:00 or 12:00, I'm not sure which one, but we're getting a legal, subbed stream of the new series!

I'm going to attempt to watch the first ep with Japan......5pm in Tokyo (where's a world clock?!)
Though Funimation would make my life easier....(Thank you for telling me that!!! I've been ready to punt my computer since I can't get half of these programs to work!!)
The thought of anyone but Aaron being Alphonse makes me want to cry.....Al is due for puberty, right? And they can always use technology to knock his voice higher, although Travis Willingham (a great guy) aka Roy Mustang doesn't think Aaron could make it.....
