Though I can still help her with elements if she wants.

I am idealy looking for a program i can crate clips in from a full ep by scean. I dont like to use the Frame Set one in VD to split.

This threw me off for a long time when first I switched from WMM, so trust me on this. just let it go, you're not going to find something like that in higher end editing programs, you'll be manually selecting scenes. (Which will in turn, make you not be so to quick convert entire episodes.)

Assuming of course that's what you're talking about. If not, just refer to LA's comment on the trimmer.

If this is what he's talking about, I just let vegas show me the frames. If I want a specific scene, I'll zoom in the timeline/trimmer.

I have set the video to 848x480 look it says that, the clips i am using are 848x480 but i am getting black lines at the top and bottom in priview and the same when i render.

Check the pixel aspect ratio of you project, if it isn't set to 1.0, that's the issue.

@SakurasLight: Yeah, hit "alt enter" while your working on the project to see your project specs and change them as necessary. Just in case someone hasn't told you that yet.

@SakurasLight: I like the new beta Sakura, but there are a few things that urk me.

1. The flashes all the way through the beta just really throw me off for some reason. It's very unpleasant to see, and some of them are off-timed to the beat. Maybe tone down the flashes a bit and not have so many.

2. There are a few flashes that don't fade out quick enough and wind up staying on the scene. I'll have to go back and get the time-codes later, and it just made me flinch. As I said, trying toning down the flashes and try not to rely on them so much. Otherwise stuff like that will happen. I'll find out what LA thinks.

Stuff I liked:

1. Again, I really liked the CascadaThon banner inside the clock, and the girl from the banner floating from one side to the other mystically, like a ghost on the window. Found it awesomely done. I liked it.

2. Timing. I liked it. Just try toning down the flashes a bit is all.

For you people in America thats 7000 miles off the East cost of the USA.

There will be 4 main cons i would like to show this MEP at in date order of the cons.

Tokonatsu 2009 ( July) ( Outdoor anime Feastival , Milton Keyens ) 300 people attending
Alcon 2009 (august) ( Large indoor anime convention .Leiceter ) 1000 people attending
Ayacon 2009 (september ) ( UKs largest Anime convention ,Warwick ) 1500 people attending
Auchinowa 2009 ( october ) ( scotish Anime Convention In ,Glasgow ) 700 people attending

There are NO Anime music video compations in the UK,
So this will only appear in a showcase of AMVs from people who submit AMV entries.
This will also Most likely be the Only MEP shwoing at thies conventions.

Its is a great chance to get the video noticed and Have the videos popularity soar.

As you can also see thies will be shown well after the premier of the MEP,

Is this ok with everyone?

I will also be Running 90% of the AMV events in the UK this year including the ones at thies cons and festivals so i can give this videos pride and place over all the other videos giving it even more Showtime and Popularity.

You will All be credited for this video the names of all the poeple involved will be shown and mentioned.
The video will be shown in full with credits.

I was originally intending to premiere this at Acen, but I dropped the idea soon after I thought of it because I didnt want to rush the MEP. But I and I'm sure the other members of this MEP would love to have it shown at those conventions. It seems that the first convention is in July. When would they need the MEP by?

Also this is just a heads up to the members of the MEP. While I am thinking to show the MEP at the following conventions, I am no way going to allow this MEP to be rushed. So don't worry about it. It all depends on when the deadline is for these conventions and if we will be able to make them.

I was thinking the deadline maybe sometime before the convention, but yea, if all goes well, we'll have this done by then.
