Too many collections

Post by Rubystars » Sat Apr 04, 2009 12:42 pm

Is there a way to combine "collections"?

I've been using VirtualDub to make clips and then importing those clips into WMM. However every time I import a clip, it creates a new "collection" folder on the side. I'd really like to have them in one folder so I can look at them together.

Is there a way to merge these collections?

I don't think you can actually merge the collection folders but you can go into each collection folder and drag and drop the clips into one folder. Like just drag and drop them all into the 'imported media folder' for ex. and then all your clips would be together. After you do that the subfolders would all be empty and you could just delete them, or ignore them.
It may be a pain in the ass but I don't know of another way.
