Hey i've been making amv's for a while, well i used to until my comp took a shit on me last year then i stopped. So i have a question i've heard that a lot of people use photoshop in their amv's and i've been thinking about that a lot. so if anyone can answer my question how are you supposed to use photoshop when making an amv? Sorry if i sound like a noob right now

Well uh... I guess the same things you would use it for normally... to create and edit images.
Video is just a series of images... so... yea... photoshop edits images

Well, here's an example. Adobe Premiere Pro can't do masking, so I used Photoshop to do that in the following shot.

well i know that photoshop is made to edit images ive done a shit ton of image editing but i know people that say that they use photoshop for things other than masking and i really don't know what they mean by that.

It's not secretly an NLE - it's just a tool.
