When you say that you may have to quit, are you talking about quiting after cascadathon or that there's a chance that you'll have to quit while it's going on?

I hope so, you're too good to just up and quit on us TC. (PS. What happened to the Re-rewind project? I seriously enjoyed that most of anything you've done so far. finish it. )

Also,
2) Congrats! :o

If you're already redoing it, should I bother with a review of your tracks? Meh, it's already typed up, here's my two cents,

Track 14
Spoiler :
This is good, nice editing (even if you are using the source to it's fullest extent  ) Though with the ending at the middle of the track, I'm curious how that will segway into the credits? I'd say either adjust the mix itself to end at that point, Or just change that last part to put that clip closer to the end.

Track 4
Spoiler :
It's good up until about 0:08, then it flickers around for a second, and abruptly shifts from a nice mix of beat sync and scene movement selection to pure hard cuts. I can why you chose the scenes you did from a story perspective, but editing wise the flow just stops up and you have to slog through with heavy handed beat sync.

Remember, story's all well and good, but in an overarching MEP, not at the expense of editing. In fact, I wouldn't recommend thinking about a story at all. There's nothing wrong with trying to keep continuity in your track, That's good in fact, but there simply isn't time for an epic, or even blatantly simple tale. An intricate self contained story will completely isolate you from the rest of the mep, which will (should) have broader themes that flow from one track to the next.

Beyond that, people who haven't seen vandread will have no idea who these character's are, it felt like you edited this for people who are fans of the series, and it frankly in just went over my head, if there's any point you want to make, spell it out visually, and make it meta (e.g. don't base it off anything in the series, make it yourself, and treat the scenes as if they're from an unrelated series you're trying to make fit) Also,(big IMO on this), try to not put any violence or moody drama in the track, I don't really think there's any piece in this mep intense or sad enough to make someone take what you had in this track seriously.

Lastly, what the heck was that at 0:14 O_o that's a single held note, don't flash on it.
Hope that can help somewhat.

@LA, the last version of your beta I have is your 10 second one, can I see whatever's up to date?

I am of course, talking about after CascadaThon. Not during.

Sad To Say, Project Re-Rewind was lost in the 2009 crash of my computer. Project Re-Rewind was one of those things I tried hardest to save, in which...I was only able to save the latest beta. I will mourn for it's loss.

If you want, you can take over Project Re-Rewind. I don't think I will continue it. It would take too much time to reproduce all the files needed, so maybe someone would take it over, and do something noteworthy with the latest beta.

Anyway, I know I have been saying it, but, I will have a beta here soon. Not gonna give an exact date but I will say it will be before the deadline.
