MADs are and will always be, superior to the AMVs of this site.

When I make a model, I don't make the parts, I didn't make the instructions, nor the glue, nor the paints, nor anything else. I just put it together.Vivaldi wrote:But then, amvs rarely use creative audio editing or original artwork. Also, could you imagine that set to a loop of linkin park? I think not.Sukunai wrote:If a 5 minute amv was made from 20 seconds of looped content, your amv would get totally ripped apart in nasty comments.Chrono63 wrote:Can you spell cute?
So why do the people that make mads do it? Or, is the term MAD simply a good description of the creators?
I've yet to see a mad I would care to see twice willingly.
Now as for ep 04, I liked it, been enjoying the show and like how they are unfolding the personalities more with each show.
I'm also glad 04 was short on the beach moe yuri inevitable boing boing you can get so often with the beach ep of most series.
Some of us put things together in a stunning way, some definitely not.
That's how I see AMVs.
I see MADS as generally enigmatically annoying loops sound effects, annoyingly looped snippets of video and then the whole thing repeated several times as if it doesn't count unless it's several minutes in duration.
At least all the great many amvs I have seen have in alot of case shown creative skill that was also worth viewing.
It should be noted, I also think Picaso's paintings suck shit too.

I never said it was. I often like to sink into something cliched and generic, something light, fluffy, humorous. Thing like Hidamari Sketch, Doujin Work, Futakoi, etc.Sukunai wrote:Yes.hasteroth wrote:Episode 4 was... cliche
But in some cases cliche means nothing negative.
