Alright. Well, I can redo that no problem. Also, what do you mean, Hard cuts. Explain the definition of Hard Cuts to me. Not clear on that. All the cuts are faded together so I don't really see any hard-cuts in the project itself. Granted, they are all really short fades but other than that, I don't get what you mean by hard cuts.

yep it died so all my files are gone including project files and most of my sources only thing i managed to save was some soul eater, shuffle!, and Higurashi kai, and princess tutu ;-;

for the sake of reference, a hard cut is a cut is a cut, the art of the seamless transition, zero frame duration, and 99%+ of good editing

crossfades/dissolves are cheating. yuck. they apparently have a limited number of legitimate uses, e.g. softcore porno or sedate fishing montages. however, if you use a crossfade with less than 10 frame duration for anything other than bridging near identical framings, you should be shot, repeatedly. by ghet. in a yellow romper suit.

a jump cut is editing kung fu, breaking the rules, and so demonstrating your epic manliness/womanliness. used correctly, they will render you irresistible to all and sundry. you know, like bear grylls

unfortunately to break the rules, you do need to know what they are...
