Oh I see, well thats cool. I'm sure that most people probably experience the same thing, cause the song builds up in that moment and then just lets loose with some badass guitar.

Haha, awesome this is one of the first AMVs I ever watched alongside Rubyeyes. It'll be a blast watching the remake and compare it with the original. Thumbs way up buddy.

Hope you can enjoy the new one, might take a little to get used to. Honestly, I can't even watch the original anymore...Same with my Street Fighter vid...They just don't do it for me compared to the new versions.

The original has always been a favorite of mine, so you're fucking with my nostalgia! :x

I enjoyed it thoroughly. Its just such a solid concept with good editing.

The middle was definitely weak, and lost focus. I recall a section with cannons blowing up random crowds with a 1-2, 1-2 timing and thought "what does this has to do with Gatts?"

I thought the video was an absolute SLAVE to the snare drum. Certain sections became very monotonous, where I was literally waiting for all the beats to be hit, because I knew they would be hit. That stationary shot of guts just sitting there swinging his sword killing dudes was a complete loss for me, because as soon as it came up, I knew 3 more guys were gonna get killed on 3 more snare drums.

The original was mainly driven by the voice, and in turn was much more dynamic and fun for me. All I could listen too was the snare drum on the new version.

Yea I got the same vibe from this, just never saw the original. So basically x2.

Your first sentence does a pretty good job serving as the motive behind the rest of your pointless nitpicking.

Sigh, well I really thought you of all people could appreciate and enjoy this more then most others. I'm really disappointed after reading your comments. For one, your claim on this being a SLAVE to the snare drum doesn't even make sense. The video goes back and forth between matching lyrics, drums and guitar, not just snare. There is a few snare hits here, then some lyric matching, then some heavy drum smashes, then some more snare...I think its balanced well. Second, the stationary thing you mentioned, is that the part where guts is holding Griffith and fighting off dudes? Because that is edited the exact same way as it was originally, just not in the same spot of the video. Well whatever, at least you took the time to say something, unlike most people who are downloading it.
