Need help converting MKV

When ever i try to import mkv it seems to crash and it looks like.

This is the first time i have encountered a problem like this so if this has been solved before it would be nice to direct me to the topic that it was resolved in thanks

Make an AVISynth script with ffmpegsource("path of video file")

it says its unable to load the plugin ;\ can someone help? and tell me where the specific place to put the plugin in

Sorry about the double post but now i got everything to work but now it says its failure to open

Same thing happend to me D:< same thing happens with Ogm :/ sept ogm crahses after it loads =P
