If I could, I'd make people edit for me because most of the videos I want to be created would take months for me to do. That's a bit too much editing IMO to be considered *FUN*. I'd just direct.

What's wrong with you guys haha? I constantly see "I just get bored and unmotivated to edit". It doesn't take much effort at all. Seriously, how can you be that lazy.

being a film student myself i might have a small rant here.

since i can't compose my shots sometimes the "visions" that become in my mind make it that much harder if i need to make the shot given to me more complex. Therefore easily i loose motivation because moral drops due to the complexity of changing the scene to fit my story board ( yes I've made one for a amv) If i could choose exactly where i wanted my shot composed it would be easier for me. Since also this is just a small hobby putting forth all the effort sometimes seems trivial |:

Wrong.

The shots used in anime are the "best shots" that were chosen by the director and editor crammed down into 1 episode. In fact, amv editors have LESS footage to work with than original composed shots and we still need to figure out which shots would work for our videos.
