Persona 3: LIVE
Video: Persona 3 (:FES) (Spoilers)
Audio: Meant to Live - Switchfoot
I thought the song went very well with P3, so I made this video. I guess the theme is pulled right from the game - Disillusionment and confusion followed by a feeling of purpose. Kind of a tribute to the protagonist. Please excuse the large file size, I haven't quite mastered this compression business.

Re: Persona 3: LIVE
This should help:
As for the vid, it felt sort of lacking. It started off interesting but lost it at 00:26, especially since that moment felt as if it needed more impact. Overall it was pretty decent though.Personally, I like 2:00 onwards.

Re: Persona 3: LIVE
Hmm... I was wondering how exactly you were going to stretch out the very short scenes in Persona to reach the : mark, but you managed it very well.
Persona fans are going to like this one, but people who haven't played the game aren't going to get it.
I felt it was well edited in the manner that you edited it. It was slow and soft editing with a slow song, and the scenes reflected that. So people who don't like slow editing aren't going to like it, but I though it was a fun one to check out.
EDIT: Also, I forgot to say that the climax of the AMV was one of my favorite climaxes I've probably ever seen in an AMV. It was a little less epic than it could have been, but who's complaining.

Wow, thanks!
Yeah, I was a little worried about the lack of impact there. I personally don't much like the two verses, but the cutscenes are all.. how shall we say... sparingly animated? As for the vid, it felt sort of lacking. Re: Persona 3: LIVE
Agreed, but honestly, I think it would be really hard to make an AMV of Persona that people who haven't played the game would get, considering the lack of footage. ^^;Code wrote:Persona fans are going to like this one, but people who haven't played the game aren't going to get it.
I actually toyed with the idea of using this song/footage together, but decided I couldn't do it. Kudos on putting the two together and making it work! Nice selection of scenes, none of them felt out of place, but there were a couple of scenes I was hoping you would use that were absent. But all around, I enjoyed it, I'm happy to add another great Persona AMV to my collection. Nice work!

Re: Persona 3: LIVE
I thought the area around 1:20 could have shown the fight with to add a tad more story, as it's not really clear what's going on there. Other scenes that came to mind are pretty minor, like scenes of SEES screaming for Minato not to leave and Aigis' tears near the end. Like I said, the vid did well without them, but they would have been nice to see.
Also, that was one of the most fitting scenes for the "We want more than the wars of our fathers" lyric I have seen.
