Re: Anime Boston 2009
Congratulations to all the winners! I didn't get to go to the masquerade or any event after Friday night so I'm so glad I went to the Friday AMV Showing instead of skipping out like my stomach wanted me to! I got extremely sick from something. I didn't even step foot out of my hotel room all Saturday and Sunday until I had to leave. (Don't worry, not the swine flu, I think something I ate just didn't agree with my stomach.) I really wish I could have went to the Editor's choice meeting and the second AMV showing, but I was unable to make it.
Getting back to the contest though, the videos were unbelievable! Starting from the first video in the first category I didn't think the next could possibly compare but I was totally wrong. Every video just blew me away. It was possibly one of the best AMV showings at Anime Boston to date. It was really hard to pick a favorite in each category because all of them were amazing. Great job to all the finalists and winners!
I'll be downloading every video as soon as I fully recover and catch up on things. My videos should both be up within a week or two. Through Thick and Thin should be up within a couple of days and my Overflow AMV will be up soon after. Thanks to LantisEscudo for providing the links.

Praise is a bit strong there. Many of them were good, but a fair number were aliased, interlaced, blurry, blocky, mistimed, etc. The technical quality of the contest as a whole dropped a bit from years past.Melichan923 wrote:Getting back to the contest though, the videos were unbelievable! Re: Anime Boston 2009
I'd just like to post a quick correction; the entry of In A World Without Sorrow... that I sent to Anime Boston is different from the version I uploaded here a few months ago. I haven't uploaded the new one yet, so that download link in the first post is out of date. I'll get around to posting the new one eventually. I have it on YT, but that's taboo here, so I won't post the link. ;P
