I'm new to uploading videos here and i've noticed that there are local and direct links for downloading. I've uploaded a video with a local link no problem. So now my question is how do i also make a direct download link for the same video? I can't find any guides that specify how to do this on here so any help would be great.
Also, what is the advantage between a local and direct link?

Direct link = you upload the video to your site and provide a link which lets the "clicker" download this vid (as opposed to indirect, in which you link only to the site).
Pros - you can , iirc, provide a direct link to a vid that has some bad content (like hentai), with a warning in the text. Or you might be selfish and not want any of your vids be uploaded on "foreign" servers. etc.
