I just finished watching clannad ep 1-24. The art/backround was mindblowing. the story line was perfect. and this anime acutally made my eyes go watery lol.

BUT

I think it is a bit poor how in the OVA (different world) they can put so much love between the two characters while in the series it takes them 22 episodes to get together. :\

I completely agree. Tomoya is such a naive guy... or something. They live together and go out for a long time and hardly ever get even a kiss in, and holding hands took forever. Sex took god knows how many episodes, seriously slow.

Well you see. That's one of the reason's why this show is so great. Both of them are very modest, awkward people.

I kinda like to think of it this way. At times Clannad is a slow and painful emotional death. The way they drag things out manages to create a powerful suspense. I'm oversimplifying it I know.

Oyz. Go play the game. There's alot more. They kept all the important stuff. I watched the first season before I played the game so I was pleasantly surprised by how much more there was in the game.

Does anyone have any idea about if there's a possibility of Clannad (and hopefully Kanon 2006 XD) getting a blu-ray release?
I so want these 2 anime in blu-ray perfection...
