Throw ep 14 on the heap.
It will likely make you feel better if you just rename it an episode in the middle or so like they are doing with Haruhi Suzumiya.
The episode is about nothing of consequence, and could easily be called 08 for all that matters.
It was ok to get an additional ep, but it wouldn't have been missed either.
