*gawkes in amazement, then trashes her own crummy ams* Ok, I've seen decent ams, good amvs, well-done and excellent vids, but this is just...wow! I can't wrap my mind around it! It's astounding! Incredible! Where..how did you come up with something so unique and fascinating? Sorry, I'm getting all fangirlish here, but you have just become my amv-idol *trows confetti* Go, Ace-Man!^^

When I read that Andromeda Software Development were a DEMO group, this video made a whole lot more sense. I really dig it, now. I love the tone and mood of the entire piece. This definitely took a long time to do, with so many layers and sources to work with, it's great to just sit back and watch without having to think about it. Just eye candy for the soul. I do have a problem with most of the text being so difficult to read because they are on screen for such a brief moment and tinted a little too brightly.

If you don't already know about the MindCandy project, you should check it out. They are an assorted collection of Demos and are a great inspiration to watch. Two DVD volumes are out so far- Volume 1: PC Demos & Volume 2: Amiga Demos. There was another editor I critiqued who mentioned Demos or drew inspiration from them, but I can't remember who it was. There are certainly a few AMV creators who know about the demoscene.

You know what this also reminds me of, an animated music video for composer Bjorn Lynne called "Messages" with animation created by Tobias Richter. The style and feel is reminiscent of your video. You can find it posted on Y0utube, just do a search for Bjorn Lynne and it should be the first thing posted.

Thank you for comments! :)

I do know about it of course :) But I prefer watching demos in realtime, just like they are supposed to be watched (except those I sadly can't run on my machines).

Yeah, some people told me the same. In fact, I'm not 100% satisfied with the composition of text layers, but oh well, it just happened to turn out like that ;) Gotta remember about that and focus on it in the future projects :)

Thanks for info, I'll definitely take a look. I really like Bjorn (Dr.Awesome ;)) for his "Worms" soundtracks :)
I rly liek Pokemanz and so should you.

Wow! That was quite....the journey :D

Really relaxed atmosphere, slow but intense.Reminds me alot of those space timelines you get in science centres which is very interesting :D I love the subtle glow effects you used, very nice.Plus the randomness just makes it more epic for this kind of video.

The only problem I really had was the text at the beginning, there was too much glow and it went by too quickly for me to see what it said :\

This video is well composed. Going into the field of astronomy myself, I particularly enjoyed watching this video. Looking at how every new atmospheric scene brought about a particular style really made this video memorable and somehow quite nostalgic. Great job with this; it has my vote for video of year thus far.

This video was amazing in many ways.

Good to see a video that focuses on the mood.
Totally dug this, and +1 JCD for potential video of the year here.
