Re: Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion
Finished this yesterday after I taped it. LOVED IT. Well done series and the ending really had me going. I can understand how some points don't make sense, but I think it takes A LOT of analytical thinking to make the connections.
Spoiler :
Probably too busy to be here right now.

So did they explain how Nunally & Co. survived the FLAIA warhead?
Great series, but the plot holes are deep enough to break your shins. It's great if you can muster up the suspension of disbelief to watch it.

Re: Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion
Who'd watch:
Code Geass: Fumoffu
with me? ^_^
THAT'S how you could continue this series.
The smattering of a few 'slice of life' eps, which were hilariously great [Tomato Sauced C.C. anyone?] could easily continue this show. Lelouch's 'fabulous' motions can also keep me laughing my ass off...
I'd like to stuff a pizza into C.C. myself ^_^
It's cute quirks like her pizza addiction [or Girls Bravo's Miharu's Banana addiction] or other anime gal's personality traits that really set her apart from a cold hearted monster...
The ep where the world's largest pizza ended up in a tree and her english dub "Where can I go to eat the world's largest pizza" was priceless...

Maybe it's best if they don't say. I don't know if people were happy or mad when they released L's real name but when I heard it I Lawl -iet (ed) (yes, the pun is intended, yes, I'm lame.) So maybe they'll save us if CC's real name sucks or as ________ as lawl -iet.

I'm still waiting to hear news on a sequal season/sequal series. Plothole believability aside, this show was just too good to not make more!

I have a hard time believing they won't milk this for the cash cow it is.JazzyDJ wrote:I'm still waiting to hear news on a sequal season/sequal series. Plothole believability aside, this show was just too good to not make more!

Re: Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion
I just got Code Geass R2 Part 1 in the mail. It looks like they are changing things up a little.
They sold the first season in 6 DVDs, 4-5 episodes in each, sold 2 at a time in Parts 1-3. This time, it appears they are selling them in 4 DVD boxes, 7-6 episodes in each, at a slightly cheaper price. Also, the limited addition of Part 1 the first season came with an awesome box to hold the whole first season. The limited addition of the Part 1 of R2 came with no such box, but I have hopes for inclusion in a later set. Also, each set come with a volume of manga of Code Geass. The first two had Lelouch of the Rebellion 1 and 2, and the third has Suzaku of the Counterattack 1. The first part of R2 came with Lelouch of the Rebellion 4, so there is now a hole in my library.
I thought I'd give you guys an update, for those of you not willing to wait for the cheap box sets I'm sure they'll sell next year.
