This was a interesting episode .... it's refreshing to see the characters out doing stuff.
My thoughts:
1. Haruhi was fucking hot in her swimsuit
2.yuki can't talk anymore ... but is still hilarious in her own little way.
3.mikuru can't catch bugs ...
4. Did i see intentional male fanservice ...?

5. I miss this show.

In my view, the show (02 2009) was only matched in its extreme ordinariness by how there was soooo much ordinariness in the episode.

I will not dwell on it, and just assume this really ordinary ep, when inserted into the weirdly organized first season schedule, likely makes the entire series perhaps a bit more logical looking. Maybe that's why it was left out, the show would have been too ordinary otherwise?

I plan to re watch it all when THIS season ends, and I can watch it all from start to finish, in the order it was written in the manga (assuming that is what will be the case).
