Re: razzmatazz
I downloaded this straightaway when I seen it uploaded to YouTube. I love School Rumble and I love the School Rumble anime + manga theme. I actually own a manga and I saw scenes in there from it and I was like, "Hey cool!"
Besides that, I felt bad for Harima Kenji. :p
Awesome quality and masking from you as usual, and love ya, Qyll. Can't wait to see what else you come up with. 5/5.

Absolutely enjoyable from start to end. I really don't have any complaints whatsoever. Fun stuff.

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Re: razzmatazz
Thanks for the comments, all.
Before I started editing, I had this great concept in my head with all these colorful visuals going on. Once I started editing however, I had to make do with what skills I had, grinding out a few seconds every day to complete the video before I returned to school. I did take lots of inspiration from the kinetic typography videos I've seen, having never made such a video myself, so my first attempt was bound to be unprofessional. I'll try to improve in that department.Niotex wrote:It didn't seem as planned out as your other videos. And while I don't like comparing video's to previous works I can't help it. Your sequences just seem a lot more random and your visual style doesn't seem to mesh it together as well as I might have liked. The main thing that bugged me however was the typography as it seems to be all over the place as well. And considering you rely on it as much as you do in this video its a definite weak point.

Re: razzmatazz
This video was pretty nifty, a few of the best was the (too lazy for time stamps) motorcycle scene and the one with her 'popping out' of the manga. I thought this worked pretty well, a few parts seemed a bit dull such as him standing in front of the words over and over but overall it had enough interesting shots going on to compensate for the down time, definitely worth the watch and you can really tell how much effort you put into this.

Re: razzmatazz
A good one, though I'd prefer it to be a manga-only vid (just my personal whim). 5/5!
