Technically, if it has a controllable variable and an objective, it could be classified as a game. Even if a very passive one.

Well there are VNs that don't have variables. But almost all of them are doujin VNs.

I actually find books more fun to read than visual novels. : /
Not my cup of tea. I don't bash people who like them (except chez, luv ya) but guess i find it a bit weird people would become so obsesses with them.

Well, for me, it's the same as reading a normal novel. Just on the computer... and with voices, sometimes. No real difference, so if someone is obsessed, then it's the same as them being obsessed with books right?

You always were the catcher. :ying:

Anyway visual novels they only keep my attention if the characters where written well, and with an intricate back story, usually those details make the novel more interesting and keep the players attention at least mine anyways |:>

I agree with you fully sanchez. If it's just fluffy junk I tend to drop it pretty fast. But for some reason Wanko to Kurasou has held my attention...

Its probably the way they drew the characters to in a way match their personalities ( 100%ted the game...) I am still dissapoint on the story development. In a small sense it went no where. Then again I like the darker stories because it makes it seem more intense.
