Login in forum works, but not at AMV page

I am able to login in the forums.
But when I want to download an AMV it says

ERROR: Login failed. (111)
Username / password combination did not match.

But I am sure I used the right password. (I even tried cut & paste)

I clicked on forgot password and received a new one per mail. But it only worked on the forum. I still cannot download an AMV or edit my profile.
Maybe important: I haven't been logged in for quite a long time. Nearly 1 year.

I am using firefox 3.0.11 and also cleared my cache.

Ouch... I had the same issue... no matter what I did to change the password, it wouldn't work boht on the site and on the forum... I had to let the system generate its custom one and use that one. :\

I'm fairly certain the problem is with the last character in your username. Before logging in, the site converts usernames to a "clean" version and then looks them up in the database using that. Your clean username is supposedly dreizehn† in the database yet when I use phpbb3's function to generate clean strings it comes back with dreizehn�. Needless to say, these don't match. I spent about three hours last night to try and figure out why the forum allows you to login but not the mainsite and could not find any difference in how phpbb3 generates the clean username string. As far as I can tell phpbb3 only uses one function to convert the username, and we are using the same phpbb3 function in our code..

Only solution I can think of at this time is that we change your username. You can have any name you want, as long as it follows the guidelines in the first post of this thread.
