Re: Micheal Jackson "Thiller" Tribute MEP (6 Open Slots!!!)

ah, i see.

most editors on shortest mep ever :D

it would be cool if editors try to communicate with those making adjacent tracks, so we can get some seamless transitions going. simplest way is to use wipes - ie end of segment; object wipes on, fills the whole screen.
next editor starts their segment with a wipe off in the same direction.

ignore me if this has been covered already ;)

OR... we use a giant mouse head that swipes through the screen?

[sarcasmstart] That sounds like a good idea to me. |:> But considering this is a tribute to Michael Jackson and not blabber, we should use a giant Michael Jackson head. [/sarcasmend]

Anyways, the wipe idea is cool :P

Sweet. =D I'll get to work ASAP.

I have a good feeling about this one. :up

Also, I'm calling Haurhi Suzumiya as my source for track fourteen, and I'm still thinking about seventeen.... =D

yes

that too

edit... i mean find something natural. if you can end on a shot where a character walks off screen left, and the next editor can start with a shot where a character walks on from the right, do it.
or if you can end with the camera panning past a building which fills the screen, and the next editor can start with a shot panning away from a building, it gives a natural point to cut seamlessly.

...

or mouse heads.

Call my source for track 9 Various for now.

lol I just noticed but I'm sandwiched between two tracks by the same person.

Did i mention I love you guys for giving me the ever so creepy track seventeen. Track fourteen is obvious what I'm doing, but the other one I'm going to have a field day with.

I understand, I personally love interesting transitions in MEPs. I've knocked heads on my own MEP project to get people to make interesting track transitions :p

I see I have been chosen track 3, then. I think I will either use Eden of the East or Samurai Champloo.
Will see when I'm back tonight.
