Sony Vegas 8 Problem

Post by RinSaber » Mon Jul 06, 2009 4:01 am

Well, I've been using this program for a while and never really have a problem till now.
I have some video files (MP4 and AVI) that everything time I drag into where I edit my videos. An Error Occurred sign pops up and Sony Vegas closes...
This has never happened before and usually, my files work.
I have no clue what is happening. Can someone help?

I'm guessing your problem is covered in this thread.
Same thing applies for h.264 (which I'm guessing is what your mp4 stuff was encoded with)

Sadly the program on that thread didn't work...
It didn't detect the file...for some reason...

What you could do is DirectshowSource the mp4 files into vdub mod and convert to lossless avi

peter made a video on how to do this

its his Tutorial on basic resizing but itll show you how to load the videos into vdubmod
