Blood: The Last Vampire Live-Action movie

Wow I just saw the trailer, and correct me if im wrong but did Blood: The last vampire really have that much sword play in it? Not to mention the samurai type people and chicks in white flying around??
Then again the person who made Crouching tiger is involved sooo~?

Not at all. It looks like they're merging it with the plot from the series. Not that I can blame them. In ova there's basically nothing to even make a movie about. "This town has some vampires in it. These people are trying to hunt them down." Is about all the plot there is. Not even a defined arch-villain character.

Well I wouldn't expect it to have all the intricacies of a 50 episode anime + OVA. Of course the anime will be better. But hopefully this can at least be decent...or half way so... >_>;

I'm so disappointed that the movie is only going to premere in 20 theaters throughout the entire US. That is so bogus. AND WHY DOES CALIFORNIA GET 7/20 THEATERS WHILE GEORGIA CAN'T EVEN GET ONE? http://schedule.samuelgoldwynfilms.com/ ... t+vampire/ I really hope that they add some more theaters.

wow, closest one is D.C. for me and i would have to drive 3-4 hours to get there. looks like i'll be waiting for the dvd
