(Visual Novel) Scripts

Post by Minimoto » Mon Jul 13, 2009 8:12 pm

Does anyone know how to extract the script from a visual novel?

You often need a different tool for each game. In fact fan-translators usually have to make their own extracting tool.

There's also AGTH but you should already know about that.

Though if a game has a text file for the script... well yeah.

Fixed it, nvm... So is there no way to just get the script without going through the whole game like this?

I would most likely be fine if they didn't have all of that impossible to comprehend kanji going on...

Neither have I.

I use a combination of Systran, and Atlas.
