The Wall - 30th Anniversary Collab (15 Open Slots)

Hey guys, this is the Forbidden Douchebag. I am currently planning a special 30th anniversary dedication collab to Roger Waters' rock opera "The Wall" (though he wrote most of the piece, Pink Floyd preformed it.) This will be a collection of AMVs or one of those so-called "Animated Musicals" collected from around the AMV community. I'm hoping to get this done by Fall (release date is Friday November 13th, 2009.) If you are an AMV maker and if you want to join (or at least if you have friends who do AMVs and are interested in the idea), send me a private message on my Y.T. account of the request of the song you'll want to do.

1) If you haven't listened to "The Wall" or watched the 1982 Alan Parker feature, check them out before you start work. The album can be downloaded via iTunes or just flat out listen to them on Y.T. (be my guest), and the movie is available on DVD but can be viewed on Google Video.

2) Make sure you have you have a well thought of idea and "character casting" of doing a song, instead of some hybrid that was thought out in only a few minutes.

4) The casting doesn't have to be on the same characters that another member decided on. It can be random casting on each piece! Western culture characters, European characters, Anime characters, you name it. No over-raped footage is accepted though ("Sonic X", "Final Fantasy", what you think is over-used).

5) I will be covering the Gerald Scarfe animation sections of "The Wall": "Goodbye Blue Sky", "Empty Spaces / What Shall We Do Now?", "Waiting for the Worms" (GasmaskAvenger is still doing it, but I'll add the animations during post), and the finale ("Stop" / "The Trial" / "Outside the Wall").
