Speaking of betas, I hear we're like collaborating on ideas or working together or something.

EDIT: Never mind, I misunderstood. I'll send out a PM with the betas in a little bit here. Yeah, I said betas. Couldn't sleep, so I started over and made a much better version.

I'm downloading now, but we aren't supposed to post betas on the forums that's supposed to be done through pms/im/Atari's FTP.

....And since I still had this up after I finished downloading, ill give you a quick OP.

I'm if this is something to point out to you or Atari, but the transition between tracks seemed off beat.

The masks will need some work (Which Im sure you are aware of, lol), but other than that I like this. Might be nice to have a little more movement added via zooms as well, but that's all I can really add. It seems simple, but it works out pretty well. (assuming you aren't going to add any effects after this?)

That's probably an issue on my end (I hope). I still haven't heard the full mix, so I just spliced together the surrounding betas so I could see where to go from there.

I must say, I like the .hack beta alot better. The first one didn't really do anything for me, but the second one made me laugh out loud. I'm not sure if I was laughing with you or at you. But it gave me pleasant feelings every time I watched it, so

You might want to tone down the zoom at 0:17 though.

Just got up and will be watching the beta's and giving my review shortly.

I like the super gals more. The coloring is more lively and the scene selection fits better, imo.
Shinnie sent kit and I a PM saying that he liked the super gals one more, too.

Daikashi also sent me a PM saying he liked the dot hack one better because it "seems to fit the atmosphere of the song a bit better and the scenes you used really help make it seem as if that bit of the mix was particularly made for that part".

Pas mentioned in #amv that he preferred the Super GALS track more because it has "more direction and focus".



...or maybe I'm just putting words in people's mouths. Either way, decision looks pretty split so far.

To be fair, the supergals track did have more focus in the sense of lyrical sync and over meaning of the song. I just thought the almost completely static and uninteresting scenes and general lack of flow push .hack into the lead. It just has a more festive atmosphere.
