What music is gritty?

Post by Kitsuner » Mon Jul 13, 2009 6:18 pm

I've noticed that I don't have any gritty videos. Anybody have any song suggestions or examples of gritty music?

I interpret "girtty" as somehow noisy music. Here are my suggestions from different sub genres:

Hercklekot - Fuck All!
DHC Meinhof - Revolution Action
Icarus Line
R6.3zist - Queen Pain
Nine Inch Nails - Capital G
The Evolutionaries - Bliss (I recommend The Evolutionaries in general for you)
Cyanotic - Suicide Jag
DJ Acucrack - Rust Presses (Cracknation Mix)
You can find me on YT under "Bauzi514". Subscribe to never miss my AMV releases. :amv:

Using the above definition, I suggest Nine Inch Nails' "Mr Self Destruct"

Anything by the band Neaera. They're probably the hardest, grittiest, and most brutal that you can get and still be Melodic Death Metal.

There are also Deathcore bands like All Shall Perish and Suicide Silence.
