Same damn thing, don't feel like thinking right now, I'm in an arguing mood. People have their opinions, some are neutral (me, shut up Scott I learned more about Vista and my opinion shifted), some love it, and some hate it (my mom). It all depends on how much they know really. Some people just take it at face value, and assume it's terrible because lots of people say it is. It also depends on what you use it for.

Updates.
Vista sucked hardcore at release time, but it's been updated enough that it functions just fine for most things these days. (User Account Control, or whatever its called, still makes me want to shoot small animals, though.)
