Oro$hi - Hello world
------------------------------------------------------
1st at Soul's team contest 05
Best Effects video Award at otakuthon 2009
------------------------------------------------------
This is a video about people cotidienne life, a worldview, which sees the Daily Acts, a journey of a singer in different countries ...
I chose scenes that are bound by the same atmosphere, same kind.
the result is a bit different from what I imagined when I started, well... ^^
enjoy !!

Re: Oro$hi - Hello world
Whenever I see a video with a massive source list my automatic thought is "Yay, more anime openings with spinning girls"
Got about 30 seconds in and I'm like "Mmmk, he replaced spinning girls with city scenes, this is kinda meh"
But by the end of it I was hooked. I have to say I really enjoyed this and it was very fun to watch. I've adored the song since I first heard it while watching Paprika, so you got an extra point or two there also >> But sadness, you had to cut it
The lip sync wasn't perfect and could've been better. And some of the scenes with the character roto'd into a live action sequence such as standing in the street playing his guitar and rowing the boat looked a bit goofy. Especially the boat bit His head just doesn't totally fit the body you put it on >>
But overall I liked this video quite a bit and it get's a from me. :3

Fuck yeah Susumu Hirasawa.
Really good mood and tone in this video, I also liked the color effects. Yeah the lip sync was a bit spotty, but it didn't detract too much.

Awesome stuff.
The concept of the video was great. I wish there was more videos like this.
I liked the scene selection for the most part, but like what Yue said, the live action bits were kind of odd.
The lip-sync wasn't amazing, but you did a good enough job that it didn't feel cheesy or lame.
Good job.
Your poster is awesome

Re: Oro$hi - Hello world
I really enjoyed the mood of your video. Very upbeat and joyous. I did think that maybe the style that the guy with the guitar was drawn in didn't fit in with the more real to life style of the other anime up to that point, and I first I felt he was a little strange against the live action, but you did a decent job blending him in so he didn't stick out like a sore thumb in most scenes. I had a few nitpicks, but overall a really good video that I liked.

Loved it, specially the combination of anime and real life scenes. The colour effects were also very good. Really relaxing
