I'm happy enough that you could even pick one, ya cranky old man.

I've already picked out my favorite. I hope it wins so I can add it to my avatar. :P

I kinda don't like any of them, but I guess if I were to chose one it'll be the one jasper-isis pointed out, cuz it stands out from the rest of them.
All the logo's this year kinda lacked colour, and so I decided to make my own version, or rather a concept of what it would have been.

1) The BG is interesting, though a little nothing-telling. Maybe a little too unfocused as well.

2) Is that a Levi Brush font? Nice choice (fits to the eastern setting of this site), though I am not sure whether it fits to the background.

3) The font bellow is too thin and wrongly set even at this size, nevertheless smaller sizes.

Overally not bad, but could've been better.
Oh, and you are a little too late anyway ;)

Now, can someone criticize my logos just like this after the nominations are over? :<

Why do people feel the need to include a background for a logo? Seriously, what purpose does it serve? Never mistake a logo for an art piece, they are two different things entirely :?

If you removed the background, removed the small text at the bottom (it doesn't really do much tbh) and just left the "AMV" it would actually be pretty decent. Also, the "A" letterform seems a bit narrow compared to the "V", even the weight is totally different.
