The Reluctant Stranger
Sooooooo, after lurking the ORG for 4 years, I finally decide to make one of these things. I've used Vegas once before in the past but only did simple cuts, crossfades, and fades so I don't have much experience. This AMV takes the final sequence from Sword of the Stranger down to a little over two minutes although the final fate of the two warriors isn't depicted. So it has some spoilers but does not spoil the very end of the movie.
Thanks to G_Q and Atari for watching my betas and helping me with all of my noob questions.
I take any and all criticism as that's the only way I'll ever improve.

For a first video, this is pretty good. It's got focus and the sync is right.
I look forward to future work from you

For a first video this is more than good. Very nice use of hard cuts and montage. Keep it up, man.

Thanks, I've already got an idea for my second video (I have other ideas but want to save those for when I get better at editing). Need to finish watching a series first, but I already have the music and some of the footage picked out.Arashinome wrote:For a first video this is more than good. Re: The Reluctant Stranger
This amv was planned out very nicely. And in terms of "first time videos", this amv definitely falls within the top 1%.
I give it a 3.3 out of 5
