What if ADV Films redubbed Sailor Moon like they did Macross

I was at this message board the other day and somebody made a post wondering what it would be like if ADV had redubbed Sailor Moon with their voice actors, and I liked these choices I saw by some of the people there:

Jessica Boone as Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon
Luci Christian as Rei Hino/Sailor Mars
Carli Mosier as Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter
Chris Patton as Mamoru/Tuxedo Kamen
Greg Ayres as Melvin (I don't remember his japanese name)

I think either Brittney Karbowski or Shelley Calene-Black would be a good Sailor Venus.

If anyone were to redub Sailor Moon, It'd be FUNimation. It was on one of their polls, too.

They use pretty much the same talent pool of actors anyways. There are a few people that exclusively work for one or the other company (usually due to being in some management-type position), but most go back and forth between Huston (ADV) and Flower Mound (Funimation, previously located in Fort Worth, then North Richland Hills).

Honestly, I really don't care who they might use to redub it in English. I just want it re-released, re-mastered, and uncut.

Wow. Well I truly LOVED what ADV did with Macross it was a labor of love. I mean not including bringing in the original Minmei they also totaly redid the script, got a real FAN of the show and thought it out, they didn't just voice the subs. They also of coarse cleaned the footage a bit. Macross fans were spoiled sith that release. It's a pity they went under, got plenty of respect for them after seeing that.

From all indications, ADV just broke up into many smaller companies. Most speculation is that they are doing this due to debts related to the whole Sojitz fiasco a few years ago. This technically allows the individual divisions to function without being tied down to the ailing ADV. One of the benefits of being based in Texas is that you can take advantage of their 'unique' legal system. On paper it looks more complicated with licensing being handled by one company, marketing and distribution by a different company, television distribution by a separate entity, and production by another.

Aww, man. You gotta be shitting me. Now FUNimation and Bandai are all that's left, and neither of those two companies have impressed me the same way that ADV has (yeah, Bandai made Gundam Wing, I'll give 'em that, but still). This sucks. R.I.P. ADV.

I don't want Sailormoon 'redone' I want them to do Sailormoon the college years. Then she would be of age where the fanservice would actually be more interesting.

She might even be able to get some scenes where she and tuxedo mask 'get it on'. Might even be able to hint at how she ended up with Rini.
Uranus and Neptune could stop being 'cousins' and yes, the whole problem of 'Stars' would be moot.
