Newbie Deinterlacing Question

Trying my hand at making an AMV - practicing on Death Note opening sequence. I know I've missed a step somewhere- tried AMVIVTC(mode=2) and AMVDeint functions separately. Edit in Premier. AviSynth says "no function" exists for both AMVIVTC and AMVDeint functions... Resulting AMV was beautiful except for the god-awful lines. Where did I go wrong? Here's the script I ended up with:

It's not on Zarx's site anymore, but AVVIVTC comes with the latest AMVApp.

This is the plugin pack I installed just a week or two ago - the only plugins included I can see are: colors_rgb, DBGcode, directcodesource and tcpdeliver. Is the amvivtv plugin available elsewhere? thanks!
