  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I really enjoyed this. It's the first AMV I've seen that actually focused on the leaping back in time aspect of the movie. Crongrats and I think you did a great job.

I haven't seen it, but I did not invent the idea of repeating scenes. (*gasp!* or for you, I guess *el gaspo!*)
(Ahyy, ahuu... ahwww) Is it true you invented... 8-)

I think it is mere coincidence... but as I said your AMV is better because it has a more difficult level... that of Nya-chan is more simple.

Congrats on the engagement!

An excellent video! Great match between the song, lyrics and anime. Also, the nth iteration of "way to make the repeated footage work well and stay watchable!"

This is definitely some of your best work since Macabre Serenade, I really enjoy it when editors incorporate the videos message into their editing somehow. That kind of connection is great! That being said I do have a complaint; I don't know what kind of system you're editing on, but it probably wouldn't kill you to try to release some of your work in a higher resolution. In my case I can't actually edit in HD, but bait and switch works well enough for me. It'd be cool seeing a video by you in 720p :)

Why would anyone edit in HD if they didn't have an HD source? (As far as I can tell, this movie hasn't been released on HD-DVD or Blu-ray in the USA.)

Domestic release waits for noone. - Also, damn, Blurays are expensive.

One question to all who saw the video on the Pro Disc. Is the quality of the Disc is better than the mp4? or are this my eyes that are thinking they are not the same...

There is no mp4 :P I'm think that the mpeg copy is probably better (I don't recall exactly, and the screens at AWA were too washed out to tell), but I do not have a copy of it. I'm not sure if it was that different anyway.
video information wrote:Unfortunately, I lost everything on my hdd's, so all I have is this copy, it's not the greatest quality.
To be honest, I've had few people say anything about the quality, I think a lot of them must be watching the preview. At some point, I may be motivated to remaster the video, but I haven't the motivation to re-make the video.

And to Reda, I actually was making a 720p video with Rideback before I lost both my harddrives.
