so then giving up mb tree wont necessarily make such a huge difference in file size compared to using b-pyramid? maybe ill try both out just to see the results later if i have time and can figure it all out okay. so if i download the newest version of x264, is there a way to turn off mb tree and use b-pyramid at will? can i do it in zarx or do i have to use megui to do it?

Code: Select all

--no-mbtree --b-pyramid
Add those in the 'custom x264 commands' box of the 'command line' tab.
