Feel free to critique as much as ya like guys, just realize this was infact done in a rush for AWA, so alot of us Had do do simpler concepts than we would have liked to on our tracks. I even had a more elaborate plan for the intro but had to fall back to this one due to time ^^. And yea we mostly did this for fun and to promote AuN at the panel.
Glad you guys that are enjoying it enjoyed it ;p

I really wish i could like this, but like others i find the editing to be very choppy, without any sort of concept for how its done, and thats just disappointing since i know how skilled alot you guys are, but overall it was ok, and i look forward to future projects by the studio.

Felt incredibly rushed and sloppy and my eyes actually couldn't focus after I watched all of that. The editing seemed to completely overpower or ignore the song in a lot of tracks; there was basic sync, but there wasn't a balance between sync and actual visibility. The only track I really enjoyed was the Kara No Kyoukai track because out of the entire MEP, it felt like the only one that did justice to the song AND was easy to understand visually what was going on. The credits were also very well done.
Overall 2/5 for me. I understand that you guys know what you're doing and you showed that through your tracks, but conceptually this isn't anything more than an eyesore.

I did. And I was certainly dissapointed.angelx03 wrote:So how many peeps here downloaded this for Touhou music?!
Unfortunately it was one of the worse remixes I have heard, a pretty dull bassline overlayed with ZUN's piano mostly. Which, in combination with the fact that many of those tracks were rushed together, led to a really boring video where everyone just synched to the bass like there is nothing else in the track. I also couldn't see a collaborative theme or anything there, first an action track, then comedy, then MAD-Style still images, then romance? That in addition made it also seem very disjointed.
I have to say though that the intro was very cool

There sorta is an overall concept behind this, which was basically just to showcase each member's style of editing. Yea ROS sorta does this already conceptually, but again this was specifically for the panel, so the concept fits. Just so happens all of us decided to do pretty much similar things with our tracks, but again I think that's mainly due to the lack of time. Our next project will have a much looser deadline schedule, so things should look alot better there in that respect :O
On a side note, I wonder how many of you watched to the end to catch the little omake after the credits >.> (since no one mentioned it yet...)
