Koop shot the footage himself, whereas Nunchuck went and found pictures to use. Both methods presented different challenges and each editor handled it differently based on what they were trying to do.

This is actually not true. I made a lot of shots with my camera myself. I didn't just find all of my backgrounds on the internet. For example:LittleAtari wrote:Nunchuck went and found pictures to use..
1:03 - 1:05 The outside of the train was shot with my camera. The reflection of her was added later on, so it would blend better.
1:08 - 1:11 That's my table she cries on
1:20 - 1:23 That is a picture I took at our riverside.
and the last shots, where that girl from "Place Promised In Our Early Days" cries on her bed. That was my pillow and also my latest magazine, I bought only for the purpose to take a picture of it

I like how you actually found a way to make Shinkai characters seem human instead of LOL CRYING ANIME GIRLS WITH LENS FLARES ROFL.
I enjoyed the music choice and the way each shot of the characters felt like a little study on their emotions at the moment. So yeah, good video, but I still hate anything Shinkai-related since Place Promised.

Re: Digital Flow - Whoaaa Did you see that Unicorn?
i watched the preview version and i honestly didn't notice the live background til about a third or halfway thru. (i haven't seen any of these movies). and even then i was still unsure in some places if you touched anything at all. so i give you kudos for skills in eye trickery
other than that it's obvious this video turned out exactly how you want it, regardless of other people's criticisms. i give you 5/5 for your conviction
