Some DVDs of mine don't rip
I know how to rip, I've ripped the whole Hellsing series to my hard drive with no problem. However, when I try and rip Hellsing OVAs it doesn't recognise that there is a disk in my disk drive. Any tips on how to fix this?

Yeah it doesn't even show up in the DVD drive.
Some more information: I'm using an external disk drive. So maybe it's just getting too old now to rip some newer DVDs? Hellsing tv series is a few years old. But OVA is recent like 2007ish. Could this be the problem?

It's not your drive; everyone has this problem with Hellsing Ultimate. As Soup suggested, you may have better luck with DVDFab Decrypter or a similarly newer ripper.
