People stealing AMV's and posting them on the Tube is kinda normal

Yeah, they do that all the time, most of the time, I make announcements for my videos and I watch for them on UTube, fortunately, I'm not that popular and have never seen my own video n someone else's chanel.

Take it as a compliment.

There is nothing you can do about it.

Not to be insulting, but I hate when people watermark their AMVs.

Imagine if a director put his name in the bottom corner of the next movie you see in the theater... so people didn't steal it and make AMVs out of it. The point being, your need for acknowledgement should not come at the expense of your creation.

Accepting that people may use your creation for something that you didn't intend is just part of growing up... (especially when said creation falls into a legal gray area)

I feel relieved that I'm not the only one out there this has happened too.
Luckily this is the only video out of the ones I had up for downloaded that was taken (1 out of 12 that were up for load, other posts gave me credit)
I'm just a litte angry at this guy, especially with him deleting my comments and I sent 2 emails asking very nicely to remove it, especially since I"m doing a remastered version of that video and posting it myself.
luckily all the other people who reposted my videos on youtube have been really nice and complied to my requests since I'm going to post them myself for everyone to see so there's no double or triple posts. (just 1 video failed, see above comment)

I've been iffy on putting up all my videos for my new ones I started creating after alchemists war, because of all this
To be honest, since I've started showing my videos at events and such, so many people are asking to see them online and supporting my work and I really want to show my new ones off especially since my skills have improve GREATLY.

Please look forward to those in the future (have over 50 to do, so it might take a while)

I want to thank the few of you who replied to the post.

I think I'm just going to give up on getting that video taken down and completely avoid the evil YTube site from now on when it comes to AMVs altogether.
if someone steals one of my old amvs, at least I know the fans who really appreciate music videos access sites like a-m-v.org to find out the real info on amvs and know the true owners of videos that are out there.
