Once I was watching AMVs with my nephew, I show him "Magic pad" and his only critica was "it´s a really cool video, but is only because he is using good scenes", I never agree with him about that, because that video have it´s own magic that prevent it to fall into meaningless randomness

but that doesn´t happen in this vid, around 3 minutes of watching it, i can stop thinking, so it suppose to me?, to keep watching random girls in field and appreciate how many image he can set in a rush? or how many raw opening/ending he can use?

It is a good synch, it is an amazing job, but it lacks of replaying value.

Let me just say that this amv has the best flow that i have ever seen in my entire life. Nothing in this amv seemed random, and every scene flowed perfectly into the next. You did a truly marvelous job at blending all the anime, and making them look uniform.

But even with that said, I started to get bored with this amv pretty early. The scene selection was nothing less than perfect, but they weren't very exciting, and the theme wasn't quite strong enough.

I think that this video actually got stuck between many different genres of multi-anime AMVs. Since you used drama scenes, it only makes sense that the video doesn't have "action packed, edge of your seat, heart pounding" excitement. But on the other hand, the theme isn't strong enough to be a drama amv. And since there isn't a lot of effects, it doesn't make sense to label this as a technical amv. if you were to submit this to a con, I think that the judges would have trouble placing it into a category.

And I think that this is the reason why its hard for me to describe how I feel about this amv. Despite how good this amv flows, it has a weak theme. And the only videos that can really get away with this are action and technical amvs. Since this amv is neither, its hard to fairly judge it. But at the end of the day, I still give this amv a thumbs up

The reason why everyone is comparing this to Nostromo's works is simply what sources were used, various lolis moving erratically with their hair blowing in the wind + dynamic camera angles, mostly to create an atmosphere. Thats what Magic Pad had, thats what Auriga had, and thats what this video has, imo.

All and all just not my kind of video, and not something i'd watch again. 4/5 for good editing and effort~

I finally watched it!

I thought it was pretty good, but I still think it was quite long. As for the scene selection, I was amazed at some parts because of how well the transitions was placed (your transitions never cease to amaze me) On my opinion, you should've made this video shorter and added more of the impact, Short and Powerful would be the right word in this case. As for the Nostromo comment, it was pretty obvious it would show up, sooner or later. Despite that, I still enjoyed it

Keep doing your thing Kain :)

Can we consider : 5cm like an " OP Movie " ?

If you're asking me, I'll say yes, and I'll add when I see the effort on Eliwure (Searching Source, Cleaning Source, Colo correction etc...), I think it's ten time harder
To make an Eliwure than make a Byousouku's / The Place promised... AMV (Oh He's sad :(, Oh He kiss a girl , Oh such an awesome animation).

Even if these movies are my favorites.

Kain
An awesome work in scene selection (and searching) / Editing...but it's not enough....You just use this scheme (J-Music + Colorfull girls = IZI Win).

" Tu peux faire bien -bien- mieux "

It's not my taste (5min39 with : Colorfull girls ), but I can't say it's a bad AMV.
