So the verdict on my computer is the mobo is wasted...

Not sure when I'll have the funds to build a new system, since they don't make the right socket mobos anymore.

I'll have my hard drives hooked up to my husband's computer at least, but I'm terrified of editing on his machine...his friend/co-editor installed the AMVApp and all that stuff so I don't know if he has everything I use (filters, encoding programs, etc...)

Oh well, I'm just incredibly thankful I HAVE another machine I can use.
