MKV files in Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9.0???

Post by xPiikanyaa » Thu Aug 20, 2009 11:25 am

I have a bunch of MKV files that don't work in Sony Vegas. Is there any way I could get them to work somehow? :?: :?

forum search is your friend...

use avisynth + vdub/mod and make clips which you save in .avi with a lossless codec

Ah, I managed to fix it.
I just converted it to .avi with a huffyuv codec using Any Video Converter, and they work just fine now.

I would recommend not to use Any Video Converter as you may find later that you may encounter some problems that theapplication can't fix. I recommend Videora Xbox 360 converter. Higher quality output, converts to a universal format and absolutely free.
I do all the right things for all the wrong reasons.
