Seriously no one has anything better to do then harass this thread or code? Kind of sad if you think about it. On another note maybe instead of fight against code or what not you should be making Aaron a birthday video, his birthday is on the 15th

Wait, seriously? Dude, we're twins!

Ok everybody, here's how it's gonna work from here on out. Project Editor's original purpose has always been that of a contest. The compilation was something EXTRA that I did out of fun and amusement for the members. Round 1's compilation from Project Editor 1 was genuinely fun to do.

But I'll be honest. I have received some of the nastiest PM's, e-mails and comments from people in the last week. So much so that I have now decided to cut the "MEP" out of Project Editor. But the decision wasn't just about the rudeness of people to me. This makes it easier on me, the judges and the general membership of this project. The rudeness and the spamming of the Project Gateway thread was just the nail in the coffin.

So here is how Project Editor from here on out will work.

Rounds will work the same. The only difference is that now the judges will be getting extra time to judge now that this is a pure contest. You will also also be getting 1 week between each round for breaks and judging.

I have also decided to make the prizes a little different now.

Because the focus of the project now is the prizes, I have revamped the prizes.

1st Place: champion's T-shirt & award's certificate of championship [PDF]
2nd Place: Mouse pad of epic Failure & runner's up certificate [pdf]
3rd Place: Award certificate [pdf]

[Prizes will be furnished and shipped from zazzle.com]

Round format will not change. You will still be able to post in the thread about anime selections and general discussion. I'm not gonna be a nazi about the spam posts, and I'm fine with people who like to talk smack or make fun of others. I see no harm in that. The mods are there to fix any and all issues.

Project Editor will also have this contests starting in September of Every year and last as long as it needs to last. I will have an official website published in the coming weeks. I plan to evolve Project Editor for as many years as I can, each year adding a new feature. This also means that in the future project editors, that there will be NO restrictions on how many people can join. I plan to devlop an FTP uploading process for Project Editor 3. But in the mean time, I will still require uploading by sendspace.

Oh, and The Origonal Head Hunter now has Carte-Blanche to do whatever he wants with his commentary. Completely uncensored. I plan to have a section on the upcoming website dedicated solely to his rants about each video.

I hope that we can move on with this contest/project in a better manner now.

I will take any and all criticisms and hate mail that this generates towards me. Go banannas.

All I'll say is "Well, crud." I'll sit back and wait for R2 results now, and hopefully move on into R3.

You have my thanks at least for coordinating this. I'll look forward to PE3 when it gets rolling, too.

I'm still the opinion that you should pass the MEP part to someone else if you don't feel the fun for now. I can't imagine that we (again: I'm sry!!!) screwed your nerves that much that you completly drop the MEP part for now and every other upcoming part. You obviously don't have the spare time (and I wouldn't edit on a compilation too if I would have your shedule), but there might be others would have the fun and the will to do it.
You can find me on YT under "Bauzi514". Subscribe to never miss my AMV releases. :amv:
