I'm very sorry you feel that way. You've been dropped as requested.Inan wrote:Oh wow, and here i was waiting patiently. Like others have stated what i really looked forward to was the compilation.
Im Actually going drop, if i wanted to have an IC with someone then i would have one over MSN.
also the spam is really annoying and not funny in any way, it was one of the reasons i just stayed away and waited for the results to show up.

It's not our fault that everyone misinterpreted the aim of P:E from the very start :<mirkosp wrote:Oh, boy, was he right...Vivaldi wrote:The first project editor died when the compilations stopped. I don't expect any better of this.

i've been trying not to get involved in the whole mep drama thats going on, because i really dont have a view either way, but how can you misinterpret the aim when code put a mission statement on the very first post of the very first p:e?Nya-chan Production wrote: misinterpreted the aim of P:E from the very start :<

It was probably my fault for putting this thread in the MEP sections when it should have been in AMV Contests from teh start. =(Ghet wrote:i've been trying not to get involved in the whole mep drama thats going on, because i really dont have a view either way, but how can you misinterpret the aim when code put a mission statement on the very first post of the very first p:e?Nya-chan Production wrote: misinterpreted the aim of P:E from the very start :<

Re: Project Editor II : [Round 2] [Update: Page 130]
When the first project editor was created, I flatly said that I think this should be in the contests forum. That this was indeed, a contest. I made the point of asking several times.
Every time, I was explicitly told that no, in no way shape or form was this a "contest", but just a mep with challenging requirements unique to every round. I was told that the process of eliminating was the gimmick, not the body.
We can debate whether this was, or should have been a contest in the first place (probably), but in no way whatsoever is this a case of misinterpretation. PE has always been a mep, This is simply a matter of changing its core being midway through. nothing more, nothing less. Don't try to imply this was all some wacky mix-up.

You're entitled to your opinions and whatever rage you want towards me, but please don't be a prick about it.Vivaldi wrote:When the first project editor was created, I flatly said that I think this should be in the contests forum. I'd like to know how you interpret being pissed about having a giant middle finger given to the patient and quiet competitors without warning as prick-ness.Code wrote:You're entitled to your opinions and whatever rage you want towards me, but please don't be a prick about it.Vivaldi wrote:When the first project editor was created, I flatly said that I think this should be in the contests forum. I'm not really even raging anymore, and that wasn't an opinion. It was a fact, Mirko said this was a problem of misinterpretation, it is not (if someone claims it is, then I'll probably rage)Code wrote:You're entitled to your opinions and whatever rage you want towards me, but please don't be a prick about it.Vivaldi wrote:When the first project editor was created, I flatly said that I think this should be in the contests forum. Heck, I fully intend to stay in the Competition, probably for PE 3 and 4 too. I was mearly stating a fact, because viewing this for what it is not would be wrong, and would make it too easy to marginalize the opinions of people who have genuine grievances.
