For all whom this message may concern:
It is with the utmost regret that Bryan and myself, along with the rest of the AMV department, have resigned from Katsucon.
For those interested, our resignation was submitted in September.
We would like to take a moment to thank the following people:
The staff of Katsucon.
The AMV department would like to thank the staff of Katsucon for allowing us to run the KMVA Contest for the past three years. It has been nothing less than a total pleasure working with the staff each year. Their dedication to running as great of a con as possible enabled us to run as great of an AMV contest as possible. And we will always appreciate that.
The ENTRANTS of the Katsucon Music Video Awards Contest
This is a shout out to all of YOU. You, the creator, who took the time to create your video. (Multiple videos for some of you, lol!) Your drive to create videos of quality and entertainment was the heart and soul of our AMV contest. Without your videos, your hard work, and your ideals, this contest would have never gotten off the ground. We thank each and every one of you.
While Bryan and myself do not have information on who will take over the contest, we do hope that everyone will continue to participate in the Katsucon Music Video Awards Contest!
Thank you VERY much again to all! Keep up the good work, and BEST OF LUCK to each and every one of you!

I am sorry to hear that. I wish you all the best of luck! Thanks for running a great contest! It was a good run. I hope you all get to come to the con at least. The new location should definitely breathe a new kind of life into it.

As a katsu staffer for the past few years I can say that it really is a shame to see you go. You guys really made Katsu AMV contest on of the best, and you totally deserved the staff MVP you got last year.
