Re: The Final CascadaThon Thread [RELEASE DATE: NOVEMBER 15TH!!]
I am going to need help transitioning Track 6 to 7 because I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it work. If someone wants to step up and volunterr a try at it, then I will send you the necessary files. I just can't figure for the life of me how to make it work well.

If you send me track 6, I can play around with it and see what I come up with.TwilightChrono wrote:I am going to need help transitioning Track 6 to 7 because I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it work. Matter of fact, I actually have a pretty good idea of how to transition to my Abeno track, though I dunno if I can do it with just Vegas. If you have After Effects or something with more freedoms, you could try making it so the last clip of track 6 replaces the red screen at the beginning of track 7. Then when my track starts, the whole frame spins like normal and the rest of the video plays. Probably be a good idea to mask the floating boy out so you can keyframe him floating up (or down maybe) to his current position while the rest of the frame is rotating.

Same idea as i had but did not have the body float.
Had him masked and fade in on the Eye on the end of 6 and then faid from the eye have the eye zoomout and then spin with the Red background on 7.

If you have a sketch of that rendered out, I'd like to see it. Sounds like an interesting idea.

I like the idea for that transition. Oh, and TC, I was just wondering... How does my piece look visually compared to the others? I realized that it might now have the same quality as it might if I added a few filters now that I know how to use Avisynth, but if I recall, Atari MAY have already done that.

It looks fine to me. I see no problem with the quality of the footage myself. I am pretty sure it will fit in just fine.Code wrote:I like the idea for that transition. Ok, the Atari probably already post-filtered it, because the one on my end that I sent to her looks like ASS. And not good ass, I'm talking cellulite ass.
Good to know then.

I actually never filtered it. It was something I was planning to do when I was compiling it, but since I dropped, I never did it.Code wrote:Ok, the Atari probably already post-filtered it, because the one on my end that I sent to her looks like ASS. And not good ass, I'm talking cellulite ass.
