OMG how could I forget! - VIEWERS CHOICE
Pat Castro - "Death Note Rhapsody"
the "Horseshoes and Hand Grenades" Award
This award was so named for a video the AMV department felt should have been in the finals but was edged out by its competition. The other reason it didn't make the ballot was because of one small detail: the inclusion of credits in the beginning. Anyway, this video told a story using only an instrumental track as a guide. The recipient of this award is a Russian editor in the Romance category. As soon as I have the official list, I'll post the details here.
Unfortunately, only ONE of our winners was present to pick up their prize. Anyway, congrats to all the winners!
BTW, Nya-chan: your "Neko Anthem" was SO cute! That video was enjoyed by many...

...and twice? While I wouldn't call coming in second "losing," Comedy / Upbeat was still tough to call in spite of the handful of videos we received for that category. I will say "Dance 5.0" was nuts! It was well-received, just so you know.

My email has been shut down since I entered this contest. If my new email address is needed (if third place gets a prize or whatever), PM me.

Cool, third place in comedy? wow.
I'm glad to see "Death Note Rhapsody" win. I voted for that instead of my own. It was good!

Adv1sor: your video actually inspired me to look into Ninja Nonsense for future projects.

You should. I'm surprised you haven't already. It's one of my favorites to use.
