I'd rather they do a third season ... I almost never watch anime movies.

I think their gonna make a third but theres a slite chance its gonna be the popular gender bended version of the series.

If that ever gets done, it won't be anything more than a small spin-off.
Third series, and maybe a fourth too, will cover the remaning novels, since the 10th is finally being written.

Sorry wasn't thinking straight it should be that what i said should be a spin off of the series but wouldn't that be cool if they did make that spin off and i can't believe the 10th novel is the last one i wish they'll make a new extension series of novels

haruhi s2 showed us that asking them for more might not be enjoyable for most of the fans (albeit the endless eight DVDs are selling over 10k copies each).

The movie will premiere in Japan on 2/6/2010. Tickets will start selling on the 21st of this month. The movie will be 150 minutes long (that's 2 and a 1/2 hours)!
