Can we have a sticky about using super search? =/

I'd rather have the search feature re-located so that is more apparent. Having the need for guides to teach how to search amvs on the site means the site is just TOO counterintuitive, as searching for amvs in the catalog is what this site is really about.

I think it says more about the intelligence and work ethic of the users than anything else, to be honest.

As much as an advocate of elitism as I am, shouldn't new users be vetted by how much care they put into their amvs rather then some asine scale of worthyness measured against their tolerence of irritating site design?

Cause you know, it sucks for them whether they pass your "test" or not.

There's nothing wrong with the site design in terms of search. The boxes are clearly visible on the main page - ESPECIALLY for Quick Search. It's right the fuck there on the bottom left. If people can't be bothered to look, that's there own damn problem.
